During my recent stay in Canterbury, I found a charming hotel that struck a fine balance between traditional and modern hospitality. The room was spacious and fitted with all the necessary amenities, making for a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring. Despite a slight hiccup regarding my payment, the staff promptly addressed the issue, showing excellent customer service. Enjoying a casual evening in the beer garden was a highlight. It was a peaceful spot to unwind, surrounded by lush greenery. The daily breakfast offered a decent selection, setting a good tone for the day. Conveniently, the hotel was well-placed for visits to historic sites and local attractions, including a nearby brewery tour that beer enthusiasts like myself will appreciate. The WiFi was reliable, and the staff was consistently courteous, enhancing my overall experience. While the path from the train station was a tad overgrown — a minor quibble for sure — it added a touch of adventure to my luggage-hauling experience. All in all, it’s a good option for those looking to immerse themselves in the local culture while enjoying a comfortable stay.
